Aaron Mackey

Aaron just completed his second year of law school at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a reporter with the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson, Ariz. During his three years with the Star, Aaron covered public safety, local government, the military, and higher education. Aaron received his bachelor's degree in journalism and English from the University of Arizona in 2006, where he was editor in chief of the Arizona Daily Wildcat, the university's independent student newspaper. Aaron has a keen interest in public access and FOIA issues and is excited to be working at the Reporters Committee this summer.
