Ahnalese Rushmann

Ahnalese is a recent journalism school graduate from the University of Minnesota. A week after graduating, she drove out to D.C. (or rather, her lovely parents drove her) and did internships on Capitol Hill and with National Public Radio's Office of the Ombudsman. Prior to her regional transplantation, Ahnalese covered policy issues for The Minnesota Daily and interned with the Minneapolis-based NEED and METRO magazines. When she's not at the office, Ahnalese can be found selling fresh-baked goodness with a side of thick Upper Midwest accent at her favorite D.C. cupcakery and planning her much anticipated return to school -- graduate or law.
