Amy Harder

Amy joins the Reporters Committee after graduating with a journalism degree from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Wash. She has interned at The Bellingham Herald, the daily paper serving Northwestern Washington state, covering the public safety beat and writing human-interest features. She also held several positions on her college paper, The Western Front, including managing editor, news editor, copy editor and reporter. She is planning on applying to law school in the next two years, after working in a job related to either journalism or the law, or, ideally, both.
