Clara Hogan graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2011 with bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Mass Communication and International Affairs. Throughout her time at Iowa she worked for the award-winning student newspaper, The Daily Iowan, most recently serving as its Managing Editor. Clara held four internships before joining the Reporters Committee, which include working as a reporter at a European weekly in Brussels, Belgium, while studying abroad and as a multimedia journalist at the Cedar Rapids Gazette.
