Jamie Schuman is a second-year law student at George Washington University.
Prior to starting law school, she covered the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for The Herald-Sun (N.C), and wrote for The Chronicle of Higher Education, the Palo Alto Weekly and the Center for Public Integrity.
She earned a master’s degree in journalism at Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in English at Yale University, where she was news editor of the Yale Daily News.
She also worked for three years as a program manager at DC Central Kitchen, a non-profit organization that trains low-income men and women for culinary careers.
