Jennifer Koons

Jennifer joins the Reporters Committee after more than four years at NationalJournal.com where she oversaw all campaign-related content and managed a special report on federal judicial nominations. Jennifer previously wrote about judicial nominations and politics in relation to environment and energy policies for Greenwire in Washington, D.C. She has also covered the U.S. Supreme Court for the Religion News Service and the legal Web site, On the Docket. She recently completed a joint master\'s degree program with the Northwestern University School of Law and the Medill School of Journalism. She holds a bachelor\'s degree in political science from Ohio State University. Her stories have appeared in a variety of publications including the Washington Post, the Lakeland Ledger and Inside Mexico.
