Jordan Zappala

Journalism Intern, Fall 2008

Jordan is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where she majored in the Program of Liberal Studies – a program that almost ensured she wouldn’t know what she wanted to do with her life. After two years of consideration (during which she worked in marketing at the District’s own International Spy Museum,) she decided to move to Boston to pursue a master’s degree in journalism. Now in her final semester at Boston University, Jordan was able to enroll in the university’s Washington, D.C., program so that she could spend the semester working for the Reporters Committee as well as covering Congress for a Connecticut daily paper. In January, she hopes to find a job somewhere in the ever-morphing field of journalism.
