Nadia Tamez-Robledo

Nadia's career in journalism began at the age of 16 when she worked as a summer intern

for her hometown paper, The San Benito News, walking to each interview under

the South Texas sun. Since then she has gotten her driver's license and has been a

writer for several school and community publications, including the The Monitor

and Panorama. She is in her final year of study in the print journalism program

at The University of Texas-Pan American.
