Virgie Townsend

Virgie received her bachelor’s degree in newspaper journalism, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University’s SI Newhouse School of Public Communications. During her undergraduate career, she was a columnist for The Student Voice, a weekly student newspaper, and was selected twice for publication in Intertext, Syracuse University’s writing program’s annual magazine. She also held three communications internships. She attends Syracuse University College of Law, where she is a member of the Communications Law and Policy Society and the Moot Court Honor Society.
