Everything online journalists need to protect their legal rights. This free resource culls from all Reporters Committee resources and includes exclusive content on digital media law issues.
From the Winter 2003 issue of The News Media & The Law, page 12.
The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press has started a daily journal of homeland security developments on its Web site. "Behind the Homefront" is a "Weblog" of leads, tips and reporting being done elsewhere.
The Weblog eventually will become a detailed archive of how the Department of Homeland Security developed and what level of access to information was allowed during the War on Terrorism.
The Reporters Committee hopes that journalists and others using this new tool also will contribute suggestions and stories to make this a valuable tool for those covering homeland security issues.
The project can be found online at www.rcfp.org/behindthehomefront.
