A judge has ordered a reporter at The Daily Globe in Dodge City, Kansas to testify at an upcoming hearing in a murder case, KOAM TV reported.
Journalist Claire O'Brien interviewed murder suspect Samuel Bonilla, who is charged with killing two men on Labor Day, and District Judge Daniel Love said she must respond to a subpoena that requests information from both her interview notes and anonymous sources.
The Daily Globe's publisher said he will consult with the newspaper's attorneys and decide whether to appeal the ruling.
