V. Government Malfeasance

At least one court has held that Exemption 8 can be overridden where disclosure would “shed light on alleged government malfeasance.”³⁴ Where possible, it may be helpful for you to explain how release of the information could reveal government misconduct, and produce any facts or documents that support this possibility.
