Reporter accused of bias keeps press pass

The Colorado Broadcasters Association decided to take no action against a free-lance broadcast journalist accused of being an "operative" working for the Democrats, following a 30-minute meeting on Jan. 30.

Jim Rettew, who has worked for the Democratic Party in the past, vehemently denied that he was "spying" on local Republican legislators.

Rettew, founder of the Colorado Regional Report, a non-profit organization that covers state legislative events for television stations in rural Colorado, will be allowed to keep his press credentials.
