Kevin Delaney

Kevin Delaney works on issues relating to court access and prior restraints.

Delaney recently completed a dual-degree program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received a law degree, with honors, from the School of Law and a master’s degree from the School of Media and Journalism. He wrote his master’s thesis on how the Supreme Court’s 2014 decision in American Broadcasting Cos., Inc. v. Aereo, Inc. affects the future of copyright law and broadcasting.

Before beginning his fellowship, Delaney served as a legal intern at the Reporters Committee and in the Office of the General Counsel at National Public Radio. He has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Elon University, where he served as a reporter and producer for the school’s student newscast.
