Reporters Committee and Reporters Without Borders to host special advance screening of "City of Ghosts"

June 12, 2017
Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press and Reporters Without Borders are hosting a special advance screening of "City of Ghosts" on Monday, June 19 at 6:00 p.m. at Landmark Atlantic Plumbing Cinema (807 V St NW) in Washington D.C.
RSVP for the screening here.
Directed, produced, and filmed by Academy Award–nominated and Emmy-winning filmmaker Matthew Heineman (Cartel Land), City of Ghosts follows the journey of “Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently” a handful of anonymous activists who banded together after their homeland was taken over by ISIS in 2014. With astonishing, deeply personal access, this is the story of a brave group of citizen journalists as they face the realities of life undercover, on the run, and in exile, risking their lives to stand up against one of the greatest evils in the world today.
The event will also feature a short discussion with Matt Heineman and special guests to be announced.
RSVP is required. To RSVP, please click here.
