Twelve states sued the Environmental Protection Agency over new regulations they say denies the public access to information on toxic chemicals in their communities. New York Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo said the changes in the Toxics Release Inventory program will “rob New Yorkers – and people across the country – of their right to know about toxic dangers in their own backyards.”  (11/29/07)
