With 5 Lawsuits, Olympia Group Launches Goverment Anti-Secrecy Campaign

The Olympia-based Center for Justice kicked off a campaign against secrecy in Washington state government by filing suits against five local governments for violating the open meetings law, and won three early settlements. “What we’re really playing for is to change the culture of open records and meetings.” Said the group’s director, Breean Beggs.
