Six senators have submitted a bi-partisan resolution to provide public access to Congressional Research Service reports by allowing senators and committees to post reports on their websites. The six are Sens. Joe Lieberman, John McCain, Susan Collins, Patrick Leahy, John Cornyn and Tom Harkin. Previous efforts to release the reports have failed to get approval of both houses. (12/12/07)
