The CIA has reviewers reclassifying documents in the National Archives that had previously declassified and made public, the Federation of American Scientists reports. FAS cited the minutes of a Sept. 20 meeting of the State Department Historical Advisory Committee which revealed that the CIA had been taking the unilateral action to re-seal some records, claiming they had not been properly declassified.
