NSA Keeps Report on Gulf of Tonkin Incident Sealed

Forty-one years after the fact, whatever that fact may be, the National Security Agency is still withholding information on the Gulf of Tonkin incident that lead to a significant build up of U.S. forces in Vietnam. Researcher Matthew Aid is still waiting for a response to the Freedom of Information Act request filed last year for an article written by a NSA historian that indicated errors in reports of the attack on American ships off the coast of North Vietnam, and a subsequent cover-up.
