A judge in Minnesota ruled that some half million documents the 3M Company is submitting in response to a lawsuit alleging groundwater contamination can be sealed, at least initially. 3M says the documents contain trade secrets. But Washington County District Judge Mary Hannon said the company will have to produce information related to several of the chemicals at issue in the suit. (12/22/05)
