Nevada sues Energy Department Over Nuclear Dump Plan

Nevada is suing the Department of Energy in an effort to look at the plans for an underground nuclear waste dump to be built at Yucca Mountain in the Nevada desert about 90 miles northwest of Las Vegas. An Energy spokesman said the government has no legal obligation to share the license application information until the document is officially filed with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. (3/24/06)
