Schwarzenegger Tells California Employees to Learn Records Law
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has ordered public records training for state officials, saying, “access to information about the conduct of the people’s business is a fundamental right that we must preserve at all costs.” He issued Executive Order S-03-06 which also directs all state agencies to review, revise and post written guidelines for the accessibility of records, and to designate staff primarily responsible for responding to information requests.
