The Center for American Progress, a Washington-based think tank, explores the history of Congressional oversight of U.S. Intelligence operations and contends the current Congress is failing in its duties. The report, “No Mere Oversight: Congressional Oversight of Intelligence is Broken,” identifies past oversight practices it says should be revived. (6/16/06)
