A Connecticut Superior Court judge overruled the “super sealing” of the records in several court cases involving prominent individuals, including the president of the University of Connecticut. Judge Robert E. Beach, Jr. said the public had a presumptive right to know what the courts are doing and the practice of sealing cases had raised questions about the integrity of the courts.
