It’s not just the public that has problems getting information from government agencies. The General Accountability Office, which audits agency performance for Congress, says it’s having trouble, too. And Comptroller General David Walker says he’s had enough. He’s asked Congress for the authority to take sworn testimony during agency audits. He’s also not getting weekly updates on access problems from his agency’s managing directors. (4/19/07)
