A Columnist Takes the Plunge into FOIA Abyss

New York Post columnist John Crudele has been trying to find out since last summer what the Treasury Department’s Plunge Protection Team does. His FOIA request for records of the team’s meetings went unanswered until he wrote a column on the lack of action. That got Treasury’s attention. But Crudele has so far received nothing more than a lesson in the FOIA delays. (5/15/07
