The Food and Drug Administration has almost 2,000 FOIA requests that have been pending for more than three years, Bloomberg News reported in a story noting that more than 40% of its 20,000-request annual backlog comes from one company. Many individual requesters to the FDA are seeking information related to potential food and drug dangers, the report said. (6/20/07)
