One day after President Bush signed into law a bill requiring public disclosure of the national intelligence budget, the House adopted an measure that would block the disclosure requirement. It was slipped into the Defense Appropriations Act by Rep. Darrel Issa, R-CA, during floor debate and accepted without discussion. (8/6/07)
