A federal judge in San Francisco said the Bush Administration broke the law by not meeting deadlines to update reports on climate change and on its impact. Judge Saundra Armstrong gave the administration a March 1 deadline to prepare and release the research plan and May 31 to release the national assessment with up-to-date data on global warming.
