Indiana’s new public records counselor said the Fort Wayne City Council didn’t violate the open meetings law when it excluded nearly 100 residents from a meeting because the meeting room was too small. The council, which the council took up a $120 million project and a smoking ban, went ahead with the meeting with as many members of the public as could be squeezed in attending. (8/29/07)
