Was It a UFO? NASA Agrees to Search Its Files on 1965 Incident Again

Something fell into the woods near Kecksburg, PA. on Dec. 9, 1965. The Air Force said it was a meteor. But the military and NASA have never been willing to release any records. Now NASA has agreed to again search its archives for documents as the result of a four-year-old suit by journalist Leslie Kean. She got some documents, records she said were unresponsive. A federal judge agreed and negotiation began last March, leading to NASA’s agreement to try again. (10/29/07)
