The School Board in Miami Dade County has been ordered to release records on security at a middle school where a boy was stabbed to death two years ago. The family and the school board negotiated a $1.7 million settlement but $1 million of that was to come from a special legislative act. The family said it needs the records to make its case to the legislature and the board was balking. (11/9/07)
