A provision that would have delayed public access to Transportation and Housing and Urban Development budget information has been dropped from a conference report on the appropriations bill for the two departments. It was dropped after Sen. Tom Coburn, R-OK, interceded with Rep. John Olver (D-MA), chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee (11/16/07)
