News Organizations Say They Are Being Shut Out of Guantanamo Hearing

Five news organizations complained to the Pentagon that they are being denied access to much of the military commission proceeding against Omar Khadr, a Canadian terror suspect, because arguments are being made by e-mail and issues raised in closed sessions for which ther are no transcripts or even summaries.  The complaint was filed by the Associated Press, The New York Times Co., Dow Jones & Company Inc., The Hearst Corp. and The McClatchy Company. (11/27/07)
