The Bush administration is now hiding records of the imprisoned and embattled lobbyist Jack Abramoff’s visits to the White House, citing the state secrets privilege as authority. Government watchdog groups had requested access to the visitor logs to determine whether Abramoff met with Bush. Bush has said he does not recall any such meeting. The Justice Department has said some of the records sought are "Sensitive Security Records" that would reveal government secrets if released.
