Sen. John Cornyn, R-TX, co-sponsored of the FOIA reform bill that just became law, is turning his attention to opening the federal spending process. He’ll introduce legislation to expand a searchable database on contracts and grants to include federal spending on many other items, such as staff salaries and travel expenses. (1/14/07)
