The Electronic Frontier Foundation, curious about possible discussions that might have gone on when Google was fighting a Justice Department request for search records, wants a federal court to compel release of the information. EFF is particularly interested in correspondence leading up to Google’s later hiring of the DOJ attorney who’d led the investigation. (2/27/08)
