Many of the Defense Department’s most sensitive assets are too secret to be included in the nation’s protection program for critical infrastructure. The Government Accountability Office, reporting the omissions, but not, of course, what’s omitted, chastised the Pentagon for not taking “adequate steps” to make sure there is sufficient protection of the secret assets.
