The ACLU sued the Maryland State Police, claiming the agency has withheld information on its investigation of racial profiling. It also claimed the agency is overcharging for records it does release. A spokesman for the police said they had complied, providing more than 3,000 pages of information. State police agreed in a 2003 consent decree to stop any racial profiling. (9/27/07)
