Administration Says Air Screening Documents Sought in FOIA Suit Are Classfied

The Bush Administration said that many of the 2,300 pages of documents sought by the Electronic Frontier Foundation related to negotiations on sharing of airline passenger data with European countries are classified and not available.  EFF has been seeking the documents for more than a year.  Last spring, the judge ordered the information produced by Nov. 1 but has extended that to April 30 as a result of the latest claim.  (11/21/07)
