Ending a long battle in which is claimed it was protecting privacy rights, the Town of Greenwich, CT, said it will post aerial photographs on its municipal web site, allowing the public to download the information free. The photos are part of the data compiled in the town’s geographic information system. The state Freedom of Information ordered the information released in 2002. The state supreme court upheld that position in 2005. (6/22/07).
