The Justice Department accused a fired air marshal of disclosing sensitive security information, even though the document he passed on to a reporter in an act of whistleblowing four years ago was not marked sensitive at the time. The accusation was made in a legal brief seeking to block his return to his air marshal job. The document dealt with budget cutbacks of the air marshal program. After it became public, the Transportation Security Administration said it was a mistake and no flight assignments had been cancelled. (5/12/07)
