The Air Force won’t comment or release any information, and it has turned down a Freedom of Information Act request on a yearlong test that consolidates civilian personnel management functions. The reason, reports the Macon Telegraph, is that the program isn’t going well. The test is ongoing at facilities employing more than 12,000 civilians. (10/29/07)
