A federal appeals court overturned a summary judgment dismissing a Cox Newspapers suit against the Justice Department. The newspaper company is seeking the names of release of convicted aliens who were released into the community despite a law requiring their deportation. Justice said the names were protected under the privacy exemption of the Freedom of Information Act. (11/22/06)
