Arizona judge dismisses libel suit

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Glenn Davis tossed out a libel lawsuit against the East County Tribune and a national insurance company, the paper reported, noting that the judge found the “story at the center of a defamation lawsuit by a Mesa man was ‘accurate’ and therefore could not be considered defamation.”
