Arizona’s ombudsman’s office has handled more than 200 public records inquires in its first seven months, most from citizens who have run into problems with local agencies. In most cases, the office was able to mediate a solution between agencies and the public. Less than one in 10 of the cases came from the media. (10/5/07)
