Cassidy Whitehurst is a litigation paralegal at the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press.

Prior to joining the Reporters Committee, Cassidy worked as a courtroom clerk at the Arlington County Circuit Court in Virginia, supporting the judges in managing daily court proceedings across both criminal and civil matters. She earned her bachelor's degree in government and international relations with a concentration in law, philosophy, and governance from George Mason University in 2021.
