Myriam-Fernanda Alcala Delgado is a Development Intern at the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. Prior to joining the Reporters Committee, Myriam-Fernanda was a fellow in Los Angeles at KCRW, where they assisted on radio programs like "Left, Right and Center." Myriam-Fernanda also reported for "Capital & Main." Their piece on ICE Community Patrol Groups in Los Angeles was republished 18 times across California.

Outside journalism, Myriam-Fernanda worked at the nonprofit 10Seven in data and research for hyper-local community programming on financial literacy. They graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Journalism and a B.A. in English in 2024.
