Simren Verma
Simren Verma is a rising senior at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she is pursuing a major in History of Public Policy and a minor in Professional Writing. She currently serves as the Managing Editor of the Daily Nexus, UC Santa Barbara’s independent, student-run newspaper. Prior to becoming the Managing Editor, she served as the University News Editor. During her time at UCSB, Simren interned at the Legal Resource Center, which provides free legal consultations to UCSB students. She grew up in Chico, California.
